In the late spring of 2015 I undertook a project to visit the neighborhood around Wilkins Ave in southwest Baltimore with my camera to photograph the people there. This was a struggling area but I wanted to capture the resilience of the residents. Most all photographs were taken with knowledge and permission of the subjects but quickly with little effort to arrange or formally pose. Most of these photographs I printed and returned to give prints to the subjects.
